JAKARTA: Through the 13th Semangat Astra Terpadu Untuk (SATU) Indonesia Awards 2022, Astra will again present awards to young people who work tirelessly for the country. After six months of screening process, twelve finalists have now been selected for the 13th SATU Indonesia Awards 2022.

“We must support our youth’s efforts to advancing the country by caring for their communities. I hope the 13th SATU Indonesia Awards 2022 can encourage young people to continue to innovate and work to advancing the nation,” said Astra Chief of Corporate Affairs, Riza Deliansyah.

The twelve finalists are young individuals and groups who contribute to the society in the five fields of Health, Education, Environment, Entrepreneurship and Technology.

They were chosen from a total of 11,603 applicants, an increase from 10,653 applicants last year, through a series of rigorous selection process.

The twelve finalists of the 13th SATU Indonesia Awards 2022 are:

Finalists in the Health Category:

Friends of Victims of Sexual Violence, Justitia Avila Veda from West Java

Health Guardian of the Poor, Musfendi from Aceh

Finalists in the Environment Category:

Friends of Potato Farmers from Wonosobo, Adhi Nurcholis from Central Java

Protector of Marine Life from the South Coast, David Hidayat from West Sumatra

Finalists in the Education Category:

A Guiding Light from “Mansinam Island”, Bhrisco Jordy Dudi Padatu from West Papua

Digital Literature Guerrilla from Maluku, Eko Saputra Poceratu from Maluku

Finalists in the Entrepreneurship Category:

Preserving Bengkulu Lantung Fabric, Alfira Oktaviani from Bengkulu & Yogyakarta

Empowering Banana Farmers from Bojonegoro, Muhammad Zainudin from East Java

Finalists in the Technology Category:

Connecting Blood Donor Online, Ahyar Muawwal from South Sulawesi

Technology-Based Eco-Friendly Shrimp Cultivator, Paundra Noorbaskoro from East Java

Finalists in the Group Category:

Activist of “Friends of Autism” (“Teman Autis”), Alvinia Christiany from Jakarta Special Capital Region

Embroidering Dreams from Salatiga, Khotifa Nur Laily from Central Java

Voting for Favorite 13th SATU Indonesia Awards 2022 Finalist

Astra invites the public to support their favourite finalist through online voting, which is open until October 23, 2022 at https://www.satu-indonesia.com/SIA2022vote/

The finalist with the most votes is entitled to a Rp10 million cash prize, and each winner of the 13th SATU Indonesia Awards 2022 at the national level will receive an activity grant of Rp65 million and other assistance which can be merged with Astra’s sustainable contribution programs such as Kampung Berseri Astra and Desa Sejahtera Astra.

The finalists were selected by a panel of judges that consists of:

1. Prof. Nila Moeloek (Lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia),

2. Prof. Emil Salim (Lecturer at the Environmental Science Postgraduate Program, University of Indonesia),

3. Prof. Fasli Jalal (Rector of YARSI University and Postgraduate Professor at Jakarta State University),

4. Ir. Tri Mumpuni (Founder of People-Centered Business and Economic Institute),

5. Onno W. Purbo Ph.D. (Information Technology Expert),

6. Arif Zulkifli (President Director of PT Tempo Inti Media Tbk),

7. Dian Sastrowardoyo (Artist),

8. Billy Boen (Founder of Young On Top),

9. Boy Kelana Soebroto (Astra Head of Corporate Communications),

10. Diah Suran Febrianti (Astra Head of Environment & Social Responsibility).

Winner announcement and award ceremony of the 13th SATU Indonesia Awards 2022 will be broadcast live on SATU Indonesia YouTube channel on October 28, 2022, the anniversary of the Youth Pledge.
