Astra Photo Competition and Astra Journalism Award 2022: Recover Together for Indonesia

JAKARTA: Astra kicked off the 2022 Astra Photo Competition and Astra Journalism Award with the theme “Recover Together for Indonesia” today (9/5) as a form of appreciation for the people of Indonesia who continue to recover together and work together to support the nation’s recovery. The competition is open to journalists and the general public from September 5 to December 31, 2022.


Astra Chief of Corporate Affairs Riza Deliansyah said, “Through the Astra Photo Competition and the Astra Journalism Award, we want to express our appreciation to the people of Indonesia who tirelessly work together amid challenging conditions to achieve faster recovery. Everyone is invited to share photos or writings depicting the spirit, hope, optimism and unity of the Indonesian people to support the nation’s recovery from various aspects.”


Through the 2022 Astra Photo Competition, photography enthusiasts are encouraged to capture objects, people, or activities that are inspiring, have positive impacts and show the efforts of achieving Indonesia’s recovery.


Meanwhile, through the 2022 Astra Journalism Award, participants can write the stories of the SATU Indonesia Awards’ recipients, the leading figures of Kampung Berseri Astra or Desa Sejahtera Astra across Indonesia that inspire the wider community and spark the spirit to move and recover together for Indonesia.

Great Prizes and Terms and Conditions
Astra Photo Competition and Astra Journalism Award are held annually by Astra. This year marks the 14th year of the Astra Photo Competition and the 8th year of the Astra Journalism Award.


In total, during the last six years, Astra Photo Competition had 62,606 applicants and received 102,787 photo entries, while the Astra Journalism Award had 6,318 applicants and received 2,178 articles.


Winners of the 2022 Astra Photo Competition and Astra Journalism Award in the journalist and general categories will receive the following prizes:

– Second Prize: 4 Honda ADV 160
– Third Prize: 4 Honda Vario 160
– Consolation Prize: 12 DJI Mavic Mini 2

Some of the terms and conditions for the 2022 Astra Photo Competition and Astra Journalism Award are: the participant must be an Indonesian citizen (WNI); the entry submitted must be the participant’s original work; the content of the entry submitted must not violate social norms and does not contain violence, politics, pornography, hate, blasphemy, racism and discrimination.
