Recover Together for Indonesia, Winners of LFA/APA 2022 Revealed

JAKARTA: After a series of judging processes, Astra announced the winners of the 2022 Astra Photo Competition and Astra Journalism Award “Recover Together for Indonesia” at the Astra Gallery, Astra Tower, Jakarta, on Tuesday (2/28).

Astra Photo Competition and Astra Journalism Award are held annually by Astra. The year 2022 marks the 14th year

of the Astra Photo Competition and the 8th year of the Astra Journalism Award.

The 2022 Astra Photo Competition and Astra Journalism Award received 9,987 photos and 1,008 articles from a total of 3,097 participants. After reviewing all photos and articles in both general and journalist categories, the jury finally selected 84 winners of the 2022 Astra Photo Competition and Astra Journalism Award.

“We welcome the enthusiasm of the 2022 Astra Photo Competition and Astra Journalism Award participants, which is reflected by the 63% increase in the number of photo entries and a fourfold increase in the number of articles received compared to the previous year. We hope the photos and articles can spread the message of working together to support Indonesia’s recovery,” said Astra Chief of Corporate Affairs Riza Deliansyah.

The winners of the 2022 Astra Photo Competition and Astra Journalism Award in the general category and journalist category received the following attractive prizes: Honda PCX e:HEV (first place), Honda ADV 160 (second place), Honda Vario 160 (third place), DJI Mavic Mini 2 (consolation) and Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 (favorite).

The 2022 Astra Photo Competition and Astra Journalism Award jury consisted of experts in their fields. For the photo competition, the judges were Muhammad Fadli (Professional Photographer), Hendra Suhara (Advisory Board Member of the Indonesian Photojournalist Organization and Head Photo Editor of Kontan) and Windy Riswantyo (Astra Life Head of Marketing & Branding and Digital Channel).

Meanwhile, the judges for the journalism award were Content Creator Fellexandro Ruby, B Universe Managing Director Apreyvita Wulansari and Asuransi Astra Communication, Event and Service Management SVP Laurentius Iwan Pranoto.

A talk show session with Muhammad Fadli and Fellexandro Ruby kicked off the awarding ceremony of the 2022 Astra Photo Competition and Astra Journalism Award. As representatives of the Astra Photo Competition and Astra Journalism Award jury, Muhammad Fadli and Fellexandro Ruby said that the photos and articles entered into the competition were very diverse, and each category had its own strengths.

The public will have the opportunity to see the exhibition of the 2022 Astra Photo Competition and Astra Journalism Award winners’ photos and articles in person at the Astra Gallery from March 1 to 6, 2022 or online through Astra Virtual Tour at virtualtour.astra.co.id.

The recognition given to Indonesians for spreading the story of the country’s recovery through photos and writings is in line with Astra’s mission to prosper with the nation and support Indonesia’s Sustainable Development Goals.
