Astra Supports Indonesia Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai

JAKARTA: The Indonesia Pavilion at the Expo 2020 Dubai, supported by Astra, highlights the diversity of the country’s potential and excellence to attract potential buyers and investors worldwide.

The Indonesia Pavilion, presenting the “Creating the Future, from Indonesia to the World” concept, was inaugurated by the Minister of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia, Muhammad Lutfi, on October 1, 2021.

“Astra supports the Indonesia Pavilion as the main gateway to introduce the nation’s diversity and initiatives to the world and at the same time presents Indonesia at the Expo 2020 Dubai stage,” said Chief of Corporate Affairs Astra, Riza Deliansyah.

Expo 2020 Dubai has three distinct themes for the 192 pavilions, each theme showcased in a dedicated district: Sustainability District, Mobility District, and Opportunity District. The Indonesia Pavilion takes place in the Opportunity District with the concept of Golden Indonesia 2045.

The Indonesia Pavilion consists of three floors and occupies an area of ??1,860 m2 and a building area of ??approximately 3,000 m2.

Astra is committed to taking part in 26 weekly themes over the next six months until March 31, 2022, prepared by the Indonesia Pavilion. The themes highlight the diversity of Indonesia’s trade, investment, culture, and tourism potentials and excellence and Indonesia’s role in realizing prosperity focusing on sustainable development and climate change mitigation.

The Indonesia Pavilion has participated in events similar to Expo 2020 Dubai five times. Meanwhile, for Astra, this is the third time the Company has supported this kind of event after participating in Expo 2010 Shanghai and Expo 2015 Milan.

Astra’s various supports for the Indonesia Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai are in line with Astra’s mission to prosper with the nation and the Sustainable Development Goals.
