Astra Hands Over 2 Vaccination Vehicles to the North Jakarta Metro Police & Military Command

JAKARTA: To support the government’s efforts in accelerating vaccination programs to achieve herd immunity, Astra handed over the donation of two vaccination vehicles to the North Jakarta Metro Police and North Jakarta Military Command (Kodim) today (26/10) at the Astra Management Development Institute (AMDI) building.

This donation was made by PT Astra International Tbk in collaboration with PT Astra Honda Motor and PT Astra Daihatsu Motor.

According to the Indonesian Ministry of Health data, as many as 8.4 million residents in DKI Jakarta have received their second dose of vaccine, where 1.3 million of them are North Jakarta residents or 96% of the recipient target in that area.

The vaccination vehicles are hoped to improve vaccination services, especially for communities residing immediately around Astra’s premises in North Jakarta.

One vaccination vehicle was handed over by PT Astra Daihatsu Motor to the North Jakarta Police Chief, Police Chief Commissioner Guruh Arif Darmawan, and another by PT Astra Honda Motor to the Chief of Staff of the North Jakarta Kodim 0502, Major Infantry Harjito. The handover of the two vaccination vehicles donation was witnessed by the Head of Security Division of PT Astra International Tbk, Muslich.

Previously through Yayasan Dharma Bhakti Astra and Dana Pensiun Astra, Astra organized Vaccination Centers for the community. Astra Group has also been gradually immunizing its employees and family members across Indonesia through the Gotong Royong Vaccination program.

Astra’s participation in achieving herd immunity in Indonesia is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals and Astra’s mission to Prosper with the Nation.
