Winners of Digital Innovation and Technology Competition Astranauts 2023 Revealed

JAKARTA: Astra revealed the winners of the digital innovation and technology competition Astranauts 2023 at the Demo Day & Awarding Astranauts 2023 event today (6/7). The event was attended by Astra’s Board of Directors and Astranauts 2023 judges and mentors.

This year marks the second year of Astranauts. The theme for the 2023 Astranauts is “Building A Sustainable Future Through Technology”, which signifies Astra’s commitment to encouraging digital innovations by Indonesian students and startups and finding solutions to current business and technology challenges. The winners of Astranauts 2023 came up with innovative ideas in the nine fields of sustainability, EdTech, emerging tech, health, agribusiness, mobility, fintech, logistics and new media.

“Astra launched Astranauts in 2022 as a manifestation of support to Indonesia’s digital economy through fostering digital innovations by startups and students in the country that can help solve business and technology problems and create a sustainable impact for Indonesia,” said Astra Director Santosa while delivering the speech of Astra President Director Djony Bunarto Tjondro.

Astranauts 2023 Demo Day & Awarding

Astranauts received more than 900 innovative ideas from 2,200 applicants. A total of 23 finalists, 12 from the startup track and 11 from the student track, were selected and received a two-week mentorship from industry experts before presenting their business concepts and innovative ideas in front of Astra’s Board of Directors during Demo Day.

Winners for each track, as selected by the jury after a series of judging processes, are:

2nd Winner: Blitz Electric Mobility 2nd Winner: Moona
3rd Winner: Seratuspersen Anak Nusantara 3rd Winner: MyECO

All winners received cash prizes: First Winner-Startup Rp100 million, Second Winner-Startup Rp70 million, Third Winner-Startup Rp40 million, First Winner-Student Rp40 million, Second Winner-Student Rp30 million, Third Winner-Student Rp20 million.

In the two new categories for this year, Fans Favorite and Out of The Box, the winners are Kawancara, Mengasihi Group and Speakapp. Kawancara received the most votes from the public based on the online voting results and won the Fans Favorite award. Meanwhile, Mengasihi Group and Speakapp won the Out of The Box award for their most creative and original ideas presented at Demo Day.

All finalists will have the opportunity to participate in Astra InnovLab’s incubation program, join Astra Startup Community and collaborate with Astra Group.

Finally, Astranauts Conference 2023 will conclude the series of events for the 2023 Astranauts. It will feature various inspirational topics and bring together more than 25 tech leaders, industry leaders and regulators to share insights on the nine fields.
