Astra Photo Competition and Astra Journalism Award 2023 ‘Dedication to Today and the Future of Indonesia’ Officially Launched

JAKARTA: Astra Photo Competition and Astra Journalism Award are back again this year with the theme “Dedication to Today and the Future of Indonesia”. The 2023 Astra Photo Competition (LFA) and Astra Journalism Award (APA) marks the 15th year of LFA and the 9th year of APA. Registration is open from June 6 to November 6, 2023. There are two categories: general and journalist.

“Through the 2023 Astra Photo Competition and Astra Journalism Award, we want to give our appreciation to photography enthusiasts, writers and journalists for capturing the positive endeavours in the community in their photos and writings. We hope these works can inspire Indonesian people to continue advancing our nation for today and the future of this country,” said Astra Chief of Corporate Affairs Riza Deliansyah.

LFA welcomes photos that show the spirit, efforts, or activities of the Indonesian people to create a sustainable future for the nation.

Meanwhile, for articles to qualify for APA, they must tell inspirational stories about SATU Indonesia Awards recipients or the leading figures of Kampung Berseri Astra and Desa Sejahtera Astra and their contributions to the sustainable development of their communities.

Winners of the 2023 LFA and APA will receive the following prizes:

  • 1st place: 4 Honda CBR250RR
  • 2nd place: 4 Honda CB150X
  • 3rd place: 4 Honda Vario 125 CBS-ISS
  • Consolation prize: 12 Sony ZV1F Vlogging Camera
  • People’s Choice Award: 60 Jabra Elite 45H Headphones
  • Monthly prize: 20 Casio G-Shock Smartwatch

Some of the requirements for the 2023 LFA and APA are: only Indonesian citizens are eligible to participate; photos and articles must be original; photos and articles must conform with social norms and must not contain violence, politics, pornography, hate, blasphemy, racism and discrimination.
