One from the top 10 viral videos of 2009 was “Jill and Kevin’s Wedding Dance Entrance.” As of today, many experts have viewed almost 52 million times. This was obviously a five-minute dance that took some planning and use. However, the concept was simple; “Let’s dance into the church.” It notifys you a little creativity plus a little bit of planning and use can make your wedding memorable, not simply for you personally plus your future spouse, but for all the attendees. After all, spent time picking your dress, the colors, the foodstuff as well as the music; a good some extra time for it to give the wedding a unique twist?

As a marriage DJ/MC/Event Coordinator, I’ve participated in a huge selection of weddings and still have seen some unique but simple-to-execute ideas. You may want to consider one of these ideas on your event, or they could just assist you to brainstorm your own.

    The James Bond garter removal

There was obviously a groom who planned to increase the risk for garter removal an incredibly big affair. After the bride to be threw her bouquet, I needed groom ahead lift off her garter. He was nowhere to be found, but this is the blueprint. Before the reception started, I had connected strobes and police lamps within the room which were unnoticeable to the audience.

As the suspicion of his absence grew greater, I coordinated the lights inside the ballroom to become completely shut off. I then totally Mission: Impossible theme song and fired up the strobes and police lamps. One million candlelight spotlights shone all around the room, finally landing on the groom, who had been hiding inside a corner. He then ran toward your beloved partner, who was relaxing in her chair about the dance floor, slid across the floor like he was sliding into home plate, and ended up underneath her dress to eliminate the garter.

Making “Wonderful World” a bit more wonderful

The father of the bride would definitely dance with his daughter for that father/daughter dance to “Wonderful World” by Louis Armstrong. Before dad brought his daughter towards the oasis, I had, quietly and discreetly, passed out the language for the song to every other guest and gave them brief instructions. As the song played as well as the father and his awesome daughter danced, the complete wedding celebration had gotten up and circled them about the dance floor and sang the lyrics for many years within the music that’s playing. It was obviously a touching and teary moment.

    The Lawless Duel

The groom, Ben Lawless, and his bride, Nicole, danced their first dance together. It ended abruptly because best man, dressed as a “bad guy” jumped along with a sword and challenged groom to your duel. This two-minute choreographed duel ended when the beautiful bride was victorious over evil after her groom was “injured.”

    Choreographed dances

One of the latest trends is brides and grooms choreographing their first dance. Usually the couples start off with a slow, classical song and dance and after that get away in a modern, fast, choreographed dance. There are many examples of this on YouTube. A few are “Wedding Thriller Dance,” “T&A: Wedding Dance,” and “Wedding first dance w/ surprise Jack Johnson Michael Jackson.” All of these videos have countless views and just keep going for a few minutes. However, they may be very memorable.

    Simple but powerful

One in the most emotionally powerful ideas is piecing together a DVD/PowerPoint presentation for your reception. This is simply a collage of photos of your beloved partner and groom. Lighting Decor Adds Flair and Finesse to Your Wedding starts with photos of each one as young kids, eventually building to when they meet. It continues showing their life together, finally arriving to the wedding day. This presentation could be shown during coffee and cake and can include photos of the bride’s and groom’s friends. When you put music to the telltale photos, it is extremely personal and emotional.

As you can view, a little little bit of creativity and effort will make your wedding reception ceremony or reception stand out for everybody.
